Director of Product Strategy

As the Director of Product Strategy reporting to the Chief Product Officer at Strike Graph, you will be a leader in helping articulate and implement the vision, design, and strategic direction of our overall product. You will play a critical role in engaging with our most complex and enterprise customers, shaping new product offerings, and driving product-led growth. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution to deliver world-class product experiences that accelerate customer success and business outcomes. You will work closely with the CPO, engineering, marketing, and customer success teams to develop compelling new features, analyze market opportunities, and ensure a seamless user experience. As a leader on the product team, you will be responsible for aligning product strategy with company goals, building community among customers, and ultimately “making things happen” in a fast-moving environment.


Core Responsibilities & Objectives:
  • Lead customer engagement and community forums to gather feedback, facilitate workshops, and identify opportunities for new product offerings and enhancements.
  • Drive product strategy and design by working closely with leadership and engineering to create new features and services, including producing high-fidelity mockups where appropriate.
  • Implement product-led growth initiatives by researching and deploying strategies that improve adoption, retention, and upsell opportunities directly through the product experience.
  • Identify and close user experience gaps by conducting comprehensive UX analyses to increase customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue opportunities. 
  • Support agile product development processes by organizing and assisting with sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other sprint activities to maintain alignment and momentum. 
  • Assist in quality assurance efforts to ensure product releases meet reliability standards and minimize defects in production environments.
  • Direct strategic product marketing initiatives, including upsell programs for new features, pressure-testing pricing models, and ensuring product updates and enhancements are effectively communicated to customers.
  • Coordinate cross-functional alignment by working closely with engineering, customer success, marketing, and sales teams to execute on product strategy and deliver measurable business impact.

 

Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic direction for the product development team(s) by establishing clear goals and priorities.
  • Mentor and coach team members to elevate organizational product thinking.
  • Foster a collaborative and engaged team culture centered on customer impact.
  • Support the management of the product development organization, and collaborate with leaders across the business to deliver projects on time while setting a high bar for user experience.

 

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated success in a senior-level product management, product strategy, product design, or closely related leadership role within a relevant technology company.
  • Experience engaging directly with enterprise customers and building strong relationships.
  • Proven ability to design and deliver new product offerings, from concept to launch.
  • Strong understanding of product-led growth strategies and UX-driven retention methods.
  • Ability to think strategically while being willing to roll up sleeves and execute at a tactical level.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with a track record of influencing without direct authority.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies (scrum, kanban) and tools like Jira.
  • Skilled at building high-fidelity mockups and articulating product ideas visually.
  • Experience leading or partnering with product marketing teams to develop go-to-market strategies and upsell motions.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define, measure, and act on key product metrics.
 
Preferred Qualifications: 
  • Background in information security compliance, cloud services, or emerging technologies (e.g., AI/ML) preferred.
  • Track record of driving strategic initiatives that improved revenue growth, retention, or customer satisfaction.
  • Experience building enterprise-level community forums and customer advisory boards.
  • Familiarity with financial modeling and pricing strategy for SaaS products.

Salary Range

The salary range ($135,000 - $166,000) reflects the minimum and maximum target for salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
